Low-Calorie Creamy Iced Coffee

Good morning, world! With the final days of summer still upon the Time Zone and at the Latitude Where I Live, I thought it appropriate to present this extremely easy, extremely delicious, and extremely inexpensive recipe for those last, languid days in the sun. I often refrigerate the leftovers from our morning pot of brewed coffee, making it even quicker to prepare this outstanding summer drink.

Low-Calorie Creamy Iced Coffee:

2 c. brewed or instant coffee, chilled
1 c. nonfat dry milk (skim milk powder)
⅛ tsp. vanilla extract
¼ c. granulated sugar
1 c. crushed ice

Add all ingredients to blender goblet. Buzz at highest speed until most of the ice melts and drink is thickened and frothy. Serve in a tall glass, topping with a straw. Serves 2.

To blender goblet, add cold coffee ...

Skim milk powder ...

A little sugar ...

And ice ... Blend until frothy and thick.

This tastes like a coffee milkshake!

To try my other chilled coffees, see the Index under Beverages.
